CareOne at Holmdel

My mom was in Care One Holmdel for about one month. She received good care from each staff member. The nurses were amazing and addressed every concern I had, thank you Gladys and Laura. Her physical and occupational therapists made sure she met her goals to ensure her safety when she came home.I gave it 4 out of 5 stars due to CNA staffing issues. Patients should not have to wait 20 minutes or longer for assistance to use bathroom. I definitely recommend them for care.

We visited Care One Holmdel during their Easter party yesterday. The facility was beautiful and the staff were friendly and kind. The party had music, activities, refreshments and even a mini horse! The residents looked to be enjoying themselves as they took in the joyful atmosphere and amazing weather on the newly finished patio. The staff that we saw truly looked like they enjoyed their job while helping the residents. I would definitely consider this facility for a loved one.

I don’t usually do these types of reviews but due to the care, communication, and cleanliness of the facility I‘ve rated five stars. I find myself thankful for the nurses, therapists, and cleaning ladies that tended to the well being of my grandmother and were able to connect on such a personal level… Although they were greeted with sour guests they never failed to greet us with such respect and kindness. I thank all the dedicated staff they have at care one in Holmdel.

In June I severely broke my leg and required 2 surgeries and extensive therapy to get back in action . After getting recommendations from a group of friends I decided to do my recovery at CareOne,Holmdel. I am just completing a three month stay at CareOne and would like to share my experience. There are four different departments that interface daily with patients. 1 Housekeeping/maintenance: As like all of their employees CareOne should be proud of the pride and hard work these people bring to their jobs. From wiping down and mopping the rooms daily to as simple a task as replacing a light bulb nothing escapes their attention. Janet is warm and friendly in addition to being great at her jobs 2 The kitchen staff: They serve an eclectic menu that will please all tastes in food. Besides the great menu they also pay attention to the little things, the hot food is always hot and the cold food is always cold 3 Nursing and Nursing Aides:These folks spend most of the day interacting with the patients. From distributing meds to assisting patients in getting washed and dressed every morning. This group crosses from being just care givers to giving genuine personal care to their patients. Angela is one of the most caring and conscientious people I have met in any field. CareOne and their patients are lucky to have her. 4 Therapists: Therapy is the critical function of any rehabilitation facility. The staff at CareOne is both skilled in their job functions as well as having the empathy so necessary for patients on the tough road to recovery. They are equipped with all the tools needed for their jobs and are trained extensively in their use. While the whole staff performed beyond expectations two therapists were the greater among equals . I was lucky to work with Nikki and Gemma whose technical skills were only exceeded by the warmth and humor they brought to their jobs, the most important part of recovery. Never forgetting the reason I was at CareOne the whole team made my time there as palatable as I could ever had hoped for.
